Manhattan Real Estate Market Update: Sept. 12, 2024

The Manhattan market is doing what it does in September. As we've mentioned before, this is the month where typically the fewest number of contracts is signed. There's been an increase in new listings coming on the market since Labor Day, and supply is back to over 6,000 homes.

That's the lowest amount we've seen in about five years, but it's still an increase. We're looking for about 7,400-7,500 homes for sale by the end of October. After that, inventory starts dropping until after the new year.

Buyers and sellers, that combination of more choice and lower interest rates means October through mid-November are going to be "prime time." If you're ready to take advantage of it, please get in touch and let's get you set up.
