The Granola Bar Opens On NYC's Upper West Side

We're suckers for indulgent breakfasts, so we had to check out the first NYC location of the beloved Connecticut chain The Granola Bar; which recently opened on the Upper West Side. The Granola Bar is a hybrid grab n' go/full service restaurant serving an extensive menu of "elevated comfort food."

And it's not just breakfast, though that's the only meal we've sampled so far. There are sweet and savory dishes, and house-made granola in a variety of tasty and unusual flavors. Some recommendations: the Huevos Rancheros, Grilled Peach and Ricotta Toast, and Maple Bacon Granola.

Add in the sophisticated decor and on-point staff, and you've got a great way to kick off your day. Don't forget to get a bag of granola to bring home!
