Are All The Millionaires Really Leaving New York?

Was the whole "millionaires fleeing from New York" thing a hoax? The implication was that our quality of life had degenerated to such an extent that people with the means to were leaving. Here's the truth. A new report from the nonprofit Fiscal Policy Institute finds that while New York City lost 2,400 millionaires from 2020 to 2022, that number was more than offset by the 17,500 millionaires who moved IN during the same period.For all its problems, there's no other city like New York, and no other people like New Yorkers. We couldn't imagine living and working anywhere else.
