Caffe Panna: Seasonal ice creams, sundaes, and affogatos inspired by Rome. Everything here makes us smile. They just opened in Greenpoint, too! 77 Irving Pl., Gramercy.
Malai: Must-try Indian-inspired flavors like Lemon Cardamom, Saffron Pistachio, and Masala Chai. 268 Smith St., Brooklyn.
Morgenstern's Finest Ice Cream: A huge variety of flavors, including some highly creative and unusual ones. Honey Lavender Peach sounds like summer, doesn't it? 88 W. Houston St., Greenwich Village.
Morgenstern's Bananas: Morgenstern's soft serve-only outpost. Order anything with the Salted Peanut Butter soft serve and you'll be happy (unless you have a peanut allergy, in which case, don't!). 2 Rivington St., Lower East Side.
Sundaes and Cones: A unique texture, and flavors both traditional and Asian-inspired like Wasabi (that's right), Ginger, and Corn that are perfect on a hot summer night. 95 E. 10th St., East Village.
