This quarter, Brooklyn faced a big challenge with a shortage of enough homes for sale. Prices went up, contracts for home sales decreased, and new listings were down. Interest in co-op apartments surged, while houses saw the smallest decline in sales. Overall, sales declined, reflecting the limited inventory available.
