Manhattan is in Buyers' Market Territory. What about Brooklyn?

Manhattan is in buyers' market territory. We're noticing more price adjustments, and colleagues say fewer people are coming to see their listings.

Let's be very clear: desperate sellers aren't flooding the market. Prices aren't plummeting. There's a normal, seasonal number of homes for sale. What's happening is that deal volume is on the lighter side. That's where the opportunity for buyers is.

Sellers, don't despair. Price your home correctly, make sure it shows well, and adjust your expectations for how long it might take. You'll get there.

The Brooklyn market, on the other hand, is still neutral. Neither buyers nor sellers have the upper hand. Great, well-priced properties continue to go quickly.
